In celebration of My Cause My Cleats, the Detroit Lions & Comerica have teamed up to support a joint-cause – Alternatives for Girls. A Lions 2024 Inspire Change Grant Partner, Alternatives for Girls was founded to help girls and young women experiencing homelessness and other risks avoid violence, early pregnancy, and exploitation; and help them to explore and access the support, resources, and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong, and to make positive choices for their lives. From December 4th to December 18th the Lions and Comerica are running an in-market campaign supporting Alternatives for Girls. For all donations made to the campaign, the Lions will match donations up to $100,000.
It allows an opportunity for young student athletes to pursue their dreams after high school.
